There are lots of ways to get involved and support YNPN Austin in our work connecting and developing nonprofit leaders. Read on for short and long term options for giving back to our non-profit community through YNPN Austin board service, donations and volunteerism! BOARD SERVICE

Board service is a great way to get to know the ins and outs of serving on a non-profit board while also investing your time and talent in strengthening the non-profit community. Below are all of our 2022 open positions, and you can view the job descriptions on our board page!

GIVE BACK

Your financial support allows YNPN Austin to continue empowering, developing, training and connecting Austin’s diverse non-profit professionals. You can make a gift here, or become a member today, and join in on the fun!

VOLUNTEER

As we recruit for the above board positions we have a few short term opportunities for those looking to volunteer. Below are the project descriptions and timelines.

Finance 

  • Council Members: 3 hours per month for committee meeting and/or recruiting other council members 
  • Giving Circle support: 10 hours in April & May to implement Giving Circle and Spring Engagement campaign 

Communications

  • Social media support: 1-2 hours per month writing and scheduling at least 1 social media post a month (3 platforms) for April and/or May
  • Email Support: 2-3 hours per month writing and scheduling monthly e-news (via Mailchimp) for April and/or May
  • Council Members: 3 hours per month for committee meeting and/or recruiting other council members 

Programming

  • Speaker Recruitment:  1-2 hours per month on an ongoing basis identifying and recommending speakers – especially for Networking with Execs, other event leads like yoga instructors, etc.
  • Venue support: 1-2 hours per month on an ongoing basis identifying and recommending venues and making connections between venues and YNPN Austin Programs Council
  • Social sharing: Spend 1 hour a month, for as long as you’d like,  sharing our events on social media and with your networks with a personal blurb
  • Headshot Hoppy Hour Support: Help email headshots after HHH (1 hour)
